Today, professionally developed educational content is available in abundance. So, when designing synchronous online or in-person classes, I always ask myself: What can I offer that goes beyond a good YouTube video? My answer is fluidity, interaction, and the use of context-specific pedagogies tailored to learners’ needs.
I have taught courses on the application of ethics across various scholarly domains, such as healthcare, engineering, the social sciences and humanities. These course have been offered to diverse audiences, including undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students, and professional researchers in various countries. I use inclusive and culturally responsive methods in my teaching philosophy: every individual has the potential to reflect on ethical issues and partake in moral reasoning.
